Rubber
Rubber is an excellent material for laser cutting and engraving.
Natal silicone latex neoprene there’s even a rubber designed for laser cutting – laser rubber
Intricate art and text can be quickly and easily laser engraved to produce rubber stamps, without chemicals. Our laser systems feature a “rubber stamp mode” which allows for adjustable shoulders.
Lasers engrave with excellent clarity. Engraving tends to be dark in colour with little contrast to the already black surface. When your engraving covers a large surface area the engraver is more likely to produce lines within the engraved surface.

Black Silicone Rubber
It’s a smooth black rubber sheet (on both sides). Silicone rubber has excellent resistance to heat. It also withstands weathering.
Be warned: laser cutting silicone rubber gets very messy! The heat from the laser causes black dust & residues to build up on both sides of the surface. But can be cleaned easily
Laser Rubber
Laser rubber is manufactured mainly for laser engraving rubber stamps. The inverse of your artwork is engraved away to make a recess. Because of this, laser rubber can be a good alternative to lino as well as for print making. It also works well with water-based inks, solvent-based inks and even slightly acidic inks.
Laser rubber is designed more for engraving but also laser cuts well.
